My Modified iPhone 3G
SYSTEM BOOT IMAGE:
This image is only seen upon booting the iPhone. This image is a combination of different pictures from Linux.org that have been modified to fit the iPhone. The original Debian logo background based on fractal flame images by Scott Draves of electric sheep.  I had to modify the size clarity and resolution to fit on an iPhone.  It's simplicity and lack of obstructions made this the clear choice for a wall paper background on the iPhone.  I then added the Linux Debian logo with Tux to finish off the clean corporate appearance.

RECOVERY BOOT IMAGE:
Images have been modified to fit the iPhone.

NUMBER LOCK:
This is a screen shot of the number lock.  I am sure everyone is already familiar with it's function and use.  The keyboard transparency has been modified so it is more subtle and less likely to drowned out the recovery image in the background while still retaining its functionality.
GUI Graphic User Interface:
All of the default functions of the original iPhone are still intact but there is now more functionality in the iPhone.  I can now swap files using my computer with out using iTunes, change my user device ID (UDID), edit any and all of the files on the iPhone including application files.  I can even and so much more with the new modifications.  I even have a program similar to task manager where I can switch between programs or kill the process.  There are a bunch open source programs on the internet with potential waiting to be tapped into I can use with out having to use the iTunes store.

WARNINGS:

Performance Comparison:
My benchmark is shown as the red dot while all other iPhones are shown as blue.  The 3giPhone by default comes with multi-tasking disabled.  I chose to enable multi-tasking on my iPhone to get more user versatility.
This graph is provided by geekbench.ca using geekbench2  My 3g iPhone benchmark is indicated as a red dot while all other iPhones are shown as blue dots.  I out performed most of the regular and some slightly modified iPhones on this graph.  There were only 2 overclocked iPhones that beat me and both of them had multi-tasking disabled.  I have provided a link to all of my benchmarks below.

My Questions:

If I truly beat all of those iPhones on the benchmark why is my processor speed only showing 278mhz when the standard speed for this processor is 612 Mhz under clocked to 412Mhz as indicated on wikipedia.org?  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPhone   This is also reported on other sites too.  http://www.everyipod.com/iphone-specs/apple-iphone-3g-specs.html

Why does my OS still show that it is Apple after replacing it with Cydia and replacing the default kernel with a full Linux Debian kernel?

When I do a side by side comparison with one of the single task iPhone's having a processor at 412Mhz and running Apple OS 4.0 why do I beat it or lost by such a small margin its academic in almost every category with such a drastic speed change?  http://browse.geekbench.ca/geekbench2/compare/262985/
